Update from Neil ... November
Things are heating up across our markets and the rush towards Christmas is really kicking in for our Production Team. They are all looking forward to some downtime to recharge the batteries.
We have recently welcomed Steve Silby to the CSP family. Steve comes to us from Laminex NZ and is taking up the role of National Specification Manager. This is a critical role for us moving forward to assist both direct customers and engineers with future projects and how CSP can offer the products needed to make these projects a success. The Sales Team is looking forward to introducing Steve to many of our key customers over the next few months.
Our Hire business has been busy finding new and innovative products to add to their product portfolio. We have some exciting new products as covered in this issue of Road Rave® and the team are working on new solutions to many of the problems our customers experience on a day-to-day basis. The next 12 months will see CSP Hire introduce these products as they arrive into the country and are available for hire.
The HV2 steel barrier we recently introduced has been extremely popular and well received by the market. We have a lot more of it on order so that we can meet the volumes our customers need going forward.
There was a buzz around the business after the first installations of our MASH complaint End Terminal (MAX-Tension™) were completed. Feedback from that and subsequent installations was that the system is very easy to install and a welcome addition to the market in New Zealand. While the X-350 will continue to be available for a period of time, it is great to see these new MASH complaint products starting to be installed on our roads. While the transition to MASH compliant products is a challenge for the whole industry, we are working through them and compiling a full range of products to meet this requirement. Watch this space for more information on our new wire rope system soon.
2020 is looking to be a busy year for us here at CSP! We have a full calendar of new product launches planned across the Hire and Barriers businesses – the team is now at full strength and everyone is looking forward to being able to talk to you about the new products and offers we have through the year.
