A word from Neil ... December 2020

Wow! What a year it has been! Who would have thought 12 months ago we would have a year like that ahead of us and that the world would change SO much over the course of the year?

Our industry

It is great to be part of an industry that has been so resilient to all these challenges. I have found that both our customers and the CSP^® staff have been a pleasure to work with over the last 10 months. We are all hoping 2021 brings more roading and infrastructure work for everyone. The signs are positive!

International trade has been extremely difficult recently with shipping cost increases, delays in shipping - particularly out of Asia which we have all been following closely in the news, and we have also seen a rapid increase in steel pricing globally. These factors will be a challenge for all of us as we go into 2021.

Innovation plus

2020 has been a very good year for new innovations from the CSP^® team.

We were very proud to bring to the market our MASH approved Sentryline – M® Wire Rope Barrier System - developed and tested right here in New Zealand.

We have also introduced other exciting new MASH products, the Sentry Barrier™ TL-3 System, Sentry Barrier™ TL-4 Thrie-Beam System and MASH UNIVERSAL TAU-M™. Other new products include the Margaritelli Aesthetic Safety Barrier, OmniStop™ Security Bollards, Sound Wall from AIL and Connected Kerb, our electric car charging system. It’s been a busy year delivering products our customers have asked for.

But we’re not done yet, 2021 looks to be just as exciting with some great new products and services on the horizon – watch this space!
